Overview

We tend to associate grief with death and bereavement - Although any significant change or loss in our lives can trigger feelings of grief. Grief is an overwhelming feeling of mixed emotion that can often appear out of nowhere. We as human beings have the capacity to grieve if we have the capacity to love. I believe we are all grieving something. We can grieve a person, a career, a country or a place. A home, a pet, a relationship and even a time in our lives. We can grieve our youth, our past as well as our health.   In this session, you will learn how to turn bad grief into Good Grief using a Solution Focused Approach.  

You will learn...

  • what grief is and how it shows up.

  • the emotions of grief - sadness, anger, denial, loneliness, guilt and shock.

  • how to use solution focused questions to deal with grief.  how to use the no/yes principle and identify which NLP techniques work best with emotional overwhelm.

  • how to fin balance in honouring the past with a compelling future, whilst maintaining the present.
