Overview

You will explore how NLP connects with a piece of ancient wisdom. Whilst John and Richard created NLP in 1971, The Tao Te Ching is a piece of ancient wisdom that predates Confucius and formed the philosophy for a way of being in the world that still exists today. What is it that a 2500-year-old philosophy has to teach us about the modern world and the role of NLP in it? At the very heart of what do as NLP professionals sits the modelling process and using this approach to engage in an exploration of the Tao Te Ching. What does it have to teach us about NLP in the modern age? There are many things in life that can’t be learned in a classroom and need to be experienced to be understood, the Tao Te Ching is one such thing. Whilst an apparently simple set of rules for life, they may hold the key to wisdom and happiness. This is an opportunity to share Ian’s journey through the Tao Te Ching and gain an insight into how this simple ancient philosophy can profoundly impact your NLP and Coaching practice.

You will learn...

  • insight into Ian’s exploration of the Tao Te Ching.

  • the relationship with ancient wisdom and NLP.

  • the Tao Te Ching and the relevance of ancient wisdom in today’s world.

  • how ancient wisdom can impact how you coach and use NLP today.
