Landscapes of the Heart: Nuggets of wisdom about relationships and sex
Therapy Stream – Saturday 29th April @ 16:30pm
Want to understand more about relationships and sex? Curious about the insights that Juliet Grayson, a psychosexual therapist who’s been working with couples for 25 years, will be sharing? Everyone struggles at times with relationships, and Juliet will throw some light on this, helping participants to think about their present and past relationships. She will talk about healthy partnerships, the challenges of relationships, and various patterns that she notices. She’ll bring her sense of humour, her robust vulnerability and her candid compassion to this topic. As the only UKCP registered Psychosexual therapist to be accredited by both NLPtCA (Neuro-Linguistic Psychotherapy and Counselling Association) and COSRT (College of Sex and Relationship Therapists), Juliet is well placed to share this topic with the NLP world. She will do so using various NLP filters such as meta-programmes and perceptual positions.
Juliet will help participants to think about topics such as:
• Conditional and unconditional love in an intimate relationship
• Managing the conflicting drives of ‘how to be me’ and ‘how to be in a relationship’ from the perspective of 1st, 2nd and 3rd position
• The impact of our childhood experiences on our adult intimate relationship(s)
• Meta-programmes and couples
Juliet Grayson is the author of the groundbreaking book (published in 2016) “Landscapes of the Heart: The working world of a sex and relationship therapist,” and has spent her working life steeped in relationship issues and sexual problems. Having begun her NLP journey in 1991, she’s been a UKCP registered psychosexual therapist since 1994. For the general public she offers couples therapy and workshops on relationships. For therapists she designed and runs a 12 day modular workshop “Certificate in Couples Therapy”.
