Resistance. It's not the enemy—it's a messenger.


In the right context, resistance is a powerful ally (think: resisting self-sabotage or sugar). But when it shows up unconsciously—blocking change, growth, or healing—it becomes a hidden saboteur. As NLP practitioners, we know: it’s not what happens, but our internal response to it that shapes our experience.


Resistance often creeps in subtly—under the radar of awareness. It hides in language, in physiology, in the frames we unconsciously hold. What if you could catch it earlier? What if you could utilise resistance as a signpost—one that points toward deeper alignment, not away from it?
