Wisdom and the Veils of Misconception
Judith DeLozier
2026 Masterclass
An Advanced NLP Exploration into States of Being, Perception, and Systemic Awareness
In a world increasingly driven by quick answers and surface-level change, the pursuit of wisdom invites us into a deeper, more nuanced domain—one that is less about certainty and more about presence, paradox, and perception.
This advanced workshop invites NLP professionals to engage with the concept of wisdom as a state of being, rather than a collection of knowledge. Using third-generation NLP tools, we will explore how to cultivate systemic awareness, emotional congruence, and a deeper understanding of self and others—especially when faced with complexity and contradiction.
Using the foundations of NLP and drawing from systemic thinking, Buddhism, and Gregory Bateson’s work, this session will guide participants through:
Principles of Wisdom
Including the ability to remain open in uncertainty, to hold paradox without collapsing it, and to persevere with presence rather than resistance.Veils of Misconception
Exploring the three fundamental misperceptions from Buddhist philosophy that distort clarity:
Mistaking sources of suffering for sources of happiness
Believing what is impermanent to be permanent
Seeing people and things as separate and self-contained rather than as part of a greater whole
Learning Outcomes
A renewed understanding of wisdom as a living process, not a fixed destination
Tools to uncover and work through internal veils and misperceptions that obscure clarity
Practices for expanding presence, awareness, and emotional grounding—especially in moments of complexity
A refined ability to model and facilitate transformation from a centered, non-attached, and compassionate state
